The 2018 CrossFit Games took place August 1–5 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin. Mat Fraser won the men’s competition, Tia-Clair Toomey won the women’s competition and CrossFit Mayhem Freedom won the Affiliate Cup.
The season had three stages: the worldwide Open, Regional competitions and the final CrossFit Games. The final field included individual men and women, teams, teenagers and masters athletes. Events ranged from short, high-intensity tests to longer challenges involving swimming, cycling and varied functional movements.
